The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium has been educating, inspiring, and providing enjoyment to our community for over 100 years. Come and be a part of an organization where you can work and have fun at the same time. Our Horticulture team is in search of people who are passionate about learning new things and giving our guests the best possible experience.
RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:
- Maintains all of the permanent landscapes around the zoo and in exhibits by mowing, weeding, watering, fertilizing, mulching, planting/maintaining annual flowerbeds and raking leaves
- Maintain ornamental water features
- Assist in installation and removal of holiday lights for Lights Before Christmas
Candidates must be prepared to actively work outdoors in all elements. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Must have the physical ability to work on your feet and be able to walk the Zoo grounds for several hours at a time.
