Mowing Crew Leader
Wood Landscape Services is searching for an Mowing Crew Leader to perform all aspects of turf maintenance for WLS clients.

Primary Functions:Manage a crew of technicians and laborers. Responsible for continued turf upkeep at WLS client properties including mowing, core aeration, fertilization, and weed/pest control. Perform all work designated on work orders within the allotted time. Maintain cleanliness and repair of assigned vehicle and tools. Complete daily paperwork accurately. Develop new sales within and outside of our client base.

Essential Functions: Proper use and maintenance of mowing, edging and fertilization equipment. Ability to apply fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides. Maintain efficient routing of jobs as changes occur.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Knowledge and skill in correct and effective methods of mowing. Knowledge of turf grass and the pests and diseases that effect it. Knowledge of horticultural pesticides, herbicides, fertilizer and their proper usage. Familiarity with Integrated Pest Management. Possess good leadership and organizational skills. Communicate effectively with co-workers and clients. Ohio Certified Landscape/Nursery Technician or equivalent Associate or BS degree in Horticulture/Landscape. Management may waive OCNT, but Crew Leader will be required to obtain certification within one year of date of hire.
