Job Description: Landscape Laborer

Are you passionate about landscaping and seeking a flexible work schedule? McIreland Landscape, based in Lexington, Ohio, is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Landscape Laborer. In this role, you will assist with various landscaping projects, contributing to the beautification of outdoor spaces throughout the Lexington area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Foreman and other team members to execute landscaping projects efficiently and effectively.
• Assist in hardscape installations, lighting setups, and lawn and landscape maintenance tasks.
• Operate landscaping equipment and machinery with a basic understanding, following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Participate in site preparation, cleanup, and organization to ensure smooth project execution.
• Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, and fertilizing, as well as landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, pruning, and planting.
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from the Foreman to complete tasks according to project specifications.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and represent McIreland Landscape positively when interacting with clients and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, Monday through Friday, to accommodate project needs and scheduling demands.
• Seek opportunities for learning and skill development to enhance landscaping expertise and contribute to team success.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of landscaping equipment and machinery.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday, to meet project demands.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions, contributing positively to team dynamics.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning and growth.
• Valid driver's license preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
