As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with our clients, understanding their landscaping needs, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our services. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, responsible for managing client accounts, exceeding customer expectations, and contributing to the growth and success of Gold Coast, as well as managing the crews.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct regular check-ins to assess satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively address concerns to ensure client retention.
Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with the crews to coordinate and oversee landscaping projects.
- Ensure timely and efficient project delivery, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the operations team to communicate project updates.
- Ability to source/deliver materials as well as equipment needed for crews.
Sales and Upselling:
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional landscaping services to existing clients.
- Prepare and present proposals for new projects, enhancements, or ongoing maintenance.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Quality Assurance/Control:
- Conduct regular site visits to assess the quality of completed projects and lawn maintenance contracts.
- Address any issues or concerns related to service quality promptly.
- Work closely with the crews to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Crew Management:
- Responsibility for 3+ lawn maintenance crews, including crew dispatch, work management, scheduling, safety and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in account management, preferably in landscaping or a related industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of landscaping practices and horticultural principles is a requirement
- Familiarity with Palm Beach County and the local landscaping market.
- Spanish speaking a plus but not required.
