Small, busy Land Surveying company specializing in residential mortgage surveys for purchases and refinances. EXPERIENCE IN THE SURVEYING PROFESSION IS VITAL.
Candidate should be professional with experience in an office setting and have excellent computer skills, customer service skills, phone skills and typing skills. Candidate will train with Office Manager to learn the fundamentals of the position.
GENERAL DUTIES (but not limited to just these): Files will be processed in the following manner: searching county property appraiser websites, tax mapping, platting, flood zoning, obtaining survey benchmarks for field crews and entering orders in our database. Self-confidence, self-direction and an ability to learn at a fast pace are CRITICAL attributes.
We need an upbeat, energetic, FOCUSED, DEPENDABLE, organized, positive individual who is able to learn quickly, can multi-task and be a TEAM PLAYER with great work ethic. Egos are checked at the door.
Old school work ethic applies to this office. Social media, cellular phone use (except for communication with family or emergencies) and outside distractions will not be tolerated.
Hours are 8:30am – 5:00ish (may go past this if needed). We do not punch a time clock. NON-SMOKING, DRUG-FREE OFFICE (background checks are completed).
Reliable transportation and flexibility to stay late is needed.
