SalaryRiver City Surveying & Mapping is seeking a motivated Land Survey SR. CAD Technician or SIT to join our team. The company performs mostly Boundary, Topo, As-Built, FEMA Certifications and ALTA surveys.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD (Carlson Survey or Civil 3D) and related surveying software packages to complete assignments on time.
- Produce various drawing specific to projects including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layout and construction staking.
- Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions and factors to consider for development including but not limited to legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents and condo documents.
- Complete edits and modify plans as revised by agencies, municipalities and clients as directed.
- Communicate with field crews on workflow status in order to meet deadlines.
- Complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- 4+ years Carlson Survey and/or Civil 3D experience.
- Have an understanding of Land Survey procedures and workflows.
- Understand, Analyze and read field notes.
- Understand, Analyze and input Deeds.
- Understand, Analyze and input Plats.
- Experience researching: Deeds, CCR’s, Benchmarks, R/W Maps, Government Notes.
Compensation:
- Salary commensurate with experience.
- SIT moves to the front of the line.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
