Reelvest Properties is a land Investment Company specializing in acquiring properties all over the US. We are seeking a diligent and experienced Due Diligence Expert to join our team. This role is integral to our success, as it involves overseeing all aspects of Due Diligence in land acquisition and ensuring the thorough evaluation of properties.
Job Description:
As a Due Diligence Expert, you will play a crucial role in our land investment ventures by overseeing and evaluating all Due Diligence processes. You will be responsible for analyzing our research, scrutinizing title reports, and assisting property improvement initiatives (as needed), such as perc tests, surveys, and brush clearing. The successful candidate will be a meticulous professional with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in land investment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Due Diligence Oversight: Manage and oversee all Due Diligence activities related to land acquisition, ensuring comprehensive evaluations of potential properties.
- Title Report Evaluation: Scrutinize title reports to identify any encumbrances, easements, or restrictions that may impact the investment decision.
- Research Analysis: Evaluate research data on potential land properties, including zoning regulations, environmental considerations, and market trends.
- Property Improvement Coordination: Assist in ordering property improvement processes, such as perc tests, surveys, and brush clearing, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges and propose mitigation strategies during the Due Diligence phase.
- Due Diligence Quarterback: Ensure that all Due Diligence processes are completed in a timely manner by all teams.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, legal professionals, and external consultants to ensure all aspects of Due Diligence are thoroughly addressed.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all Due Diligence activities, ensuring a transparent and accessible record of findings.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Real Estate and land Development.
- Proven experience in Due Diligence processes, preferably in the land investment or real estate sector.
- In-depth knowledge of title reports, zoning regulations, environmental considerations, and property improvement procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools and systems for Due Diligence and research.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations related to land acquisition.
Hours:
Main working hours are 9 am to 5 pm EST, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to set your own hours.
Employment Type:
This is an independent contractor position, with potential to transition to a permanent employee position following a successful probationary period.
Compensation:
$20 to $25 per hour
