Our client, a leading multi disciplined engineering firm, is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team in Port Charlotte. In this role, you will be responsible for managing civil site design projects, focusing on water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage one or multiple civil site Development Projects for clients, ensuring successful delivery.
- Prepare proposals and develop project fees in collaboration with the team.
- Visit clients, job sites, and consultant offices as needed to provide project support and foster business development.
- Monitor project scope, schedules, and budget, ensuring adherence to established targets.
- Oversee engineering work and facilitate collaboration with other disciplines as necessary.
- Define the scope of work for each project and establish clear communication channels.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Utilize intermediate/advanced skills in tracking projects using Vision/Microsoft Project software.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensure: Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of design experience in public and private projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle unique or complex engineering challenges.
- Proven track record in planning, coordinating, and successfully delivering large-scale engineering projects.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to mentor and guide team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
- Business development skills and a keen understanding of financial information.
