Job Description
This position will be in-house in the client’s office in Houston, TX. This role will support Land and ROW operations and maintenance efforts for oil and natural gas pipelines/facilities.
As a Land and ROW Lead, your primary responsibilities will involve Operations and Maintenance as well as project assistance. Some other responsibilities will include Land Management and Acquisitions, Damage Settlements, Vesting Title, Due Diligence, Document Prep and Management, Contract Reviews, O&M Support, Brushing and Landowner Mailings
We are specifically seeking a candidate who lives in the Houston, TX area.
Job Duties:
- Interfacing daily with the client for assignments and direction
- Creating/Maintaining landowner line list and files
- Create and send landowner mailings
- Work with encroachment entities
- Pull Deeds and other title documents
- Work with landowners to acquire survey permission, workspace, easements, leases, other Land and ROW documents
- Negotiate damage settlements
- Work with agencies to acquire and renew non-environmental permits
- And other assignments as directed
Qualifications:
To be successful in the Land and ROW lead role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience with land acquisition, title, and document management
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with Google Earth and ESRI
- TREC ROW License
- 10% Travel Required
- Local to the Houston area
