Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a part time (civilian) Registered Nurse (RN)Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) at our Dumfries Health Center in support of Ft. Belvoir in Dumfries, VA.
Job Details:
- Part time - 20 hours/week (Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM); Flexible scheduling
- Located in outpatient OB/GYN clinic
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience: 2 years of experience as a Lactation Consultant and registered nurse (preferably in OB/GYN setting)
- License / Certifications:
- Active valid and current RN License from any state
- Possess a certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
- Active BLS certification
- Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry and automated medical records.
- Ability to develop lactation classes and support groups.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct group lactation/feeding classes
- Provide resources and support to moms with lactation/feeding concerns
- Be a resource to the OB/GYN healthcare providers
