We are seeking a Chemistry Technician to support work with solid phase chemistry that is used in oligo manufacturing. This is for a global biotech company and it a great opportunity to work for a well-know organization!
Pay: $22-$28/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Work with CPG material by following established and robust protocols.
- Perform assigned tasks using the established protocols and methods on the appropriate equipment.
- Write and revise standard operating procedures.
- Effectively communicate to ensure all equipment is functional and available for use.
- Record real time data onto physical and electronic batch records following good documentation practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Physical Science with 0-2 years of industry experience OR 2-4 years of industry experience with Associate's Degree
- Excellent understanding of laboratory, chemical and general safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Competent with chemical calculations for molarity, density, and use of the metric system.
- Capable of running multiple reactions in process at any one time to efficiently produce requested materials and submit products by expected deadlines.
