Role Description
Form Energy is hiring a Lab Technician to execute characterization techniques to elucidate our product’s performance drivers. This role reports into our Reliability Analytics team. As part of our team, you will contribute to the co-development of characterization techniques in collaboration with Electrode and Cell Design teams. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!
What you'll do:
Prepare and analyze a variety of standard samples to characterize chemical and physical properties of Form Energy battery materials using novel methods
Run quality control standards and perform basic instrument maintenance
Participate in daily communication for prioritization and escalations of observations
Organize and maintain physical sample queue
What you'll bring:
2+ years of experience in Analytical or Mechanical Characterization Labs
Demonstrated experience in chemical or physical measurements such as titration, particle size analysis, powder density, thermal analysis and tensile strength
Familiarity with sample management systems such as LIMS and custom data entry software
Excellent communication and organizational skills
