Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in supporting our acute care hospital. This role is critical in being able to manage and enhance the relationship between our organization and its employees, particularly in the context of labor and employee relations. This position collaborates with management, HR and labor unions to ensure a harmonious work environment. Utilizes influence and provides leadership to design and implement solutions, collaborating with HR colleagues and business leaders.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in acute healthcare as an HRBP
- Proven experience in Labor Relations and employee advocacy in a healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations and healthcare compliance
- Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with employees, management and labor unions
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, aPHR, PHR, SPHR) - preferred
- Proficiency in ADP and Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate efficiently verbally and in writing
- Los Angeles County Fire Card (or must be obtained within 30 days of employment
