This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in-person at least two days per week.
CalHR is preparing to welcome a Labor Relations Analyst to its Childcare Providers Labor Relations Division and you might be what we are looking for! Our ideal candidate would be someone with a highly analytical approach to problem solving and is dynamic, hardworking, and willing to learn the complexities of Childcare Providers Labor Relations.
Under the general direction of the Assistant Division Chief, the Labor Relations Analyst (LRA) is responsible for providing technical and analytical staff work for all functions of the Childcare Providers Labor Relations Division (CPLRD). Assigned staff work may range in comple xity fromhandling basic to complex and sensitive issues consistent with Building a Better Early Care and Education System Act and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The LRA provides general office, research, and analytical support for bargaining preparation, grievance handling, contract administration, regulations and legislation, information requests, and note-taking. The consequence of error of the LRA's work product is significant as it will ultimately be relied upon to inform decision makers.
Position may be upgraded to Labor Relations Specialist for recruitment purposes. If upgraded, duties will be adjusted accordingly.
