Position Summary
Reporting into the Associate Director, Facilities & Laboratory Operations, this individual will be responsible for performing a wide range of basic laboratory and office support activities for CytomX including routine clerical, word processing, facilities and lab support work as assigned. Duties include but not limited to day-to-day services at company.
Professional Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day services
- Receive, sort, and distribute all incoming US mail
- Manage, maintain, and restock inventory in cabinets, drawers and storage areas for common areas, kitchen, and mailroom as well as responding to all cleaning emergencies
- Perform onboarding and offboarding tasks and new hire orientation on behalf of the Facilities Department
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and offboarding company badges and access to facility
- Responsible for security cameras and access to playback videos
- Provide R&D lab support (maintaining the autoclave labs and autoclaving)
- Responsible for supporting R&D by supplying the group with sterilized glassware, preparing media and buffer solutions. (Related tasks include collecting and distributing glassware, cleaning and sterilizing glassware, storing and inventorying glassware.)
- Responsible for removing broken glass containers, stocking all safety glasses containers, replacing radiation badges for Pharmacology, and maintaining Dosimetry files
- Maintain/Update the physical SDS system
- Responsible for annual pipette, balance and other basic common-use lab equipment PMs and calibrations
- Responsible for escorting all routine facility and lab services personnel through facility when necessary
- Manage and create POs, work orders, service reports and service contracts for facilities, lab repairs and maintenance services
- Redesign Facilities and EH&S onboarding and offboarding processes
- Ensure EH&S trainings are completed in a timely manner
- Responsible for maintaining hazardous waste manifest paperwork and reporting DTSC delays to EH&S
- Respond to incoming tickets through the facilities ticketing system and designate accordingly to corresponding facilities team members
- Maintain/update information on company intranet for Facilities and EH&S Departments
- Identify gaps, recommend, and implement solutions for facilities processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a general awareness of lab safety & cleanliness
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Excel a plus)
- Be extremely organized and possess a high attention to detail
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds
- Able to proficiently multi-task

Salary and Benefits
- The expected salary range for this role based on the primary location for this position in California is $33.00 - $45.00 per hour. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
