The role is to work in our media preparation lab and involves the making of various medias for the micro lab, use of autoclaves, cleaning and sanitizing the labs, with the possibility of cross-training in other areas of the lab.
Makes media daily -there are over 20 different types of media
Cleans and sanitizes the lab daily
May need to lift up to 25lbs
Will be doing basic math to calculate materials needing to be weighed and measured
Will be using autoclaves daily to decontaminate used lab materials and to sterilize materials
