Lab Technician

Position: Lab Technician

Location: Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Lab Technician to join our Hi Speed Cable team. The position will be located in Nashua, New Hampshire.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in defining equipment to establish NPI capability in Nashua to support early sample builds for cable products
• Install, program, maintain and operate die bond equipment to support earlyrequirements for optical cables
• Install, program, maintain, and operate various other equipment/processes in support of early proto requirements for other cable assembly processes
• Assist in design, procurement, and debug of fixtures and tooling
• Establish and document manufacturing process details
• Assist with the transfer of tools and processes to volume manufacturing

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of experience as an engineering technician in a manufacturing environment
• Associate degree in a technical field is preferred
• Prior experience working with microelectronics
• Familiarity with die bond equipment and processes
• Experience with material handling and usage and curing of epoxies/adhesives
