Lab Technician

Job Summary:

The Lab Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and calibration on analytical equipment. He/She will calculate, prepare, and fill medical and specialty gas mixtures using partial pressure and gravimetric techniques. He/She will analyze products for purity conformance to specifications. He/She will process cylinders for shipment. He/She will maintain all quality control records and other required documentation in order to comply with company, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations. He/She will test and certify incoming raw materials for production. He/She will be responsible for handling and loading the cylinders.

Requirements:

• Education - Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Preferred two years of analytical experience
• GC knowledge
• Familiar with analytical gas technologies
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong computer skills
• Strong math skills
• General Mechanical Aptitude
• Prior experience working in a quality assurance lab
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and calibration on analytical equipment
