HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities):

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for basic job functions such as kit assembly, label application, simple solution formulation, and solutions dispensing. The Lab Technician I will also need to be proficient in the basic use of laboratory tools such as Pipette use, use of conductivity and pH probes, and basic scale and balance use. The Lab Technician I will also be responsible for the running of automated lab equipment such as filling machines, labeling machines, capping machines, and UV sterilizers. Maintain and execute Quality Control (QC) program as developed.

• Labeling of kitting materials per customer specifications.
• Basic kit assembly following approved BOM's work travelers, and work instructions.
• Simple solution preparation and the ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Solutions dispensing and the ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Use of basic laboratory equipment such as pipettes, pH and conductivity probes, balances and scales.
• Use of automated lab equipment such as filling machines, labeling machines, capping machines, and UV sterilizers
• Additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelors or Associates Degree with a background in molecular biology or chemistry preferred and/or equivalent combination of education, certification and experience
• 1-2 years’ experience in a laboratory setting
• Familiarity with simple solution preparation, general laboratory functions
