As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technician/Technologist at our Critical Access Hospital, you'll perform a wide range of technical procedures analyzing blood and various body fluids in order to expedite the provider's diagnosis and treatment of patients. You'll assist with quality audits in accordance with accrediting agencies.
Technical duties will include routine patient testing, phlebotomy, quality assurance, preparation of blood components for transfusion, and electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Performs job duties of Medical Technologist; performing a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic procedures of a moderately and highly complex nature, following established standards and practices to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
- In collaboration with the Laboratory Director, manages and conduct activities as part of the Quality Assurance Program for the department.
- Develops and maintains a service orientation in performing duties with fellow employees, patients, medical staff and visitors.
- Has operational responsibility for the clinical/technical aspects of a section of the laboratory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school, either a two (2) year or (4) year degree.
- Licensed Med Tech in the state of North Dakota.
- Current certification as one of the following: Med Technologist (MT or MLT), Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS),or Medical Lab Scientist (MLS).
- Certification by ASCP, NCA, AMT.
