Educations & Qualifications: Prefer minimum of two-year degree in science or related field; or equivalent work experience. Prefer working knowledge of formulas/processes used in prep and cook room.
Summary: As directed by the Senior Director of Food Safety & Quality and other members of the Food Safety and Quality team, this position will conduct inspections and provide Lab Tech support as needed to promote and monitor food safety and food quality in our fast-paced sauce manufacturing facility.
Essential Functions:
Efficiently conduct thorough inspections including but not limited to sanitation, facility, glass & plastic, tool & part, pest & infestation inspections at defined frequencies using established processes and procedures.
Review formulas in the intranet to ensure complete and accurate information.
Monitor critical control points of food processing.
Complete laboratory testing of production and retain samples.
Monitor production line, specifically filling process.
May assist in reviewing ingredient, raw material and product specifications.
Other Responsibilities:

Report to and from work at assigned time.

Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.
