As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines, and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. About the Team:
  • The Routine Microbiology Laboratory identifies and provides treatment solutions to clients on a wide variety of bacterial and parasitic human pathogens. We are a diverse group of individuals working together to positively impact patient outcomes.

Internship Assignment Summary:
  • Prepare clinical specimens such as urine, stool, and swab collections for testing and analysis; other tasks as needed
  • Help prepare validation plans for new instrumentation
  • Assist with data collection and documentation for in-house validations
  • Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your business acumen and professional presence

Education/Qualifications/Skills:
  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills; experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Comfortability with handling biological specimens
