Lab Business Operations Manager

TITLE: Lab Business Operations ManagerLOCATION: Charlotte, NC (Onsite) STATUS: Full-Time Direct Hire SCHEDULE: Day Shift, Business HoursPAY RANGE: $88,000- 115,000 Per Year

This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.

SUMMARY: Plans, organizes, and coordinates all daily operations of the laboratory. Leads and develops management in the execution of laboratory responsibilities and standardization. Provides direct oversight of the laboratory as one operational unit.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads, manages, administers, plans, and support the development and coordination of laboratory-wide process improvements, quality and supports testing operations across all departments of the laboratory.
• Teaches and develops department leaders to perform roles.
• Leads and supports the development of solutions for complex problems based on fact, observations, experience, and judgment. Seeks support as needed.
• Ensures quality issues are investigated and countermeasures are implemented to prevent reoccurrence.
• Provides input on the development of a long-range strategic plan relative to services, programs, human resources, capital needs and other resource requirements.
• Ensures annual operations plans with department goals, dashboards, key activities, timelines, and resource requirement are executed.
• Supports the activities of the Lab Director and provides leadership coverage when the Director is not present.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of Lab leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, Medical Technology, or related field from an accredited institution) required.
• Master’s Degree in Health Administration or related field is preferred.
