SalaryStatus: Part Time, 24 hours per week
Shift: 6:30 am to 3 pm or 10:30 am to 6 pm
What you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy training certification preferred.
- Experience preferred.
- Proficient use of computers.
What you will do:
- Collect blood samples from patients.
- Accurately identify, lab transfer and process specimens.
- Receive and instruct patients, nurses, staff physicians, doctor’s offices regarding proper collection of specimens and laboratory reports, procedures and other lab information.
- Receive and instruct patients, interpret physician’s orders, enter orders into lab computer system and schedule appointments.
