This position may require early mornings (as early as 6:00am) or nights (as late as 8pm), and would require at least one weekend shift each week. Qualified Candidates will have a set schedule if desired. The ideal candidate would have a Sunday-Wednesday Schedule working from 6am-2pm, with an occasional night shift or having to work both a Saturday and Sunday once or twice a month.

Your responsibilities would include, but not limited to, supervising the kitchen, conducting inventory, completing ordering, monitoring food cost, leading food safety while also educating customers on our menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent Leadership and Customer service skills, be reliable, high energy, strong work ethic, be able to multi task, and come with a positive vibe.
The ideal candidate would have kitchen and food prep experience using only the freshest fruits and vegetables, where you have worked both front and back of the house cafe/restaurant operations. Although ideal but not required, if you have Coffee Craft skill and knowledge, step to the front of the line-I want you! Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
- Supervise while working all aspects in our Kitchen Operations
- Lead upto 5 employees
- Ordering, Inventory Control
- Knowledge and experiencing with Juicing
- Food and Safety Sanitation Certification
- Greet customers as they enter
- Guide customers with menu choices, answer their questions regarding ingredients
- Take orders while paying attention to details
- Prepare food and beverages following recipes
- Serve beverages and prepare food such as salads, wraps and acai bowls
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep all areas clean
- Maintain stock
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
Skills
- Previous work experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Prep Cook
- Hands-on experience with coffee brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Basic math skills
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences, and to learn their names and preferences
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma; relevant training or experience is a plus
