Kitchen - Line Prep Cook

Busy NYC cheesecake bakery seeking energetic and passionate bakers assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. We are a small-batch bakery that specializes in cheesecake. Prep consists mainly but not limited to, making our graham cracker and chocolate crusts, lining pans, mixing, measuring and following a recipe. The ideal candidate must take great pride in their work, have the ability to multitask and work well with others. Daily responsibilities include: Prep for Baking, Bakery organization, General clean up. Qualifications: 1-year experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting, Knowledge of health hazards in food preparation and service -Food Handlers Certificate (or immediate willingness to obtain it), Ability to work mornings and early evenings, ability to execute recipes consistently. Must be reliable, professional and team-oriented, Organized, good time management skills, occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (50 lbs) Available Sunday- Friday (40 hours per week, early morning shifts)
