Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Assist with food service during peak hours
- Help with catering events as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food industry as a cook or similar role
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and knife skills
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines during busy periods
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
