We're seeking a driven, creative, and strategic Key Account Manager to join our growing sales team.
The Key Account Manager will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing and will work collaboratively with the leadership team, cross-functional peers, and external resources to accomplish all aspects of the role successfully.

- An advocate for alternative pest control solutions and EarthKind’s brands
- A skilled relationship builder with 2-5 years of experience managing Key Accounts.
- Adept at creating and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth.
- Experienced in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry.
- Proficient in CRM software (NetSuite) and data analysis
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative and cross functional environment
- Comfortable interacting at different levels of organizations
- A continuous learner who stays up to date on industry trends
- Ability to grow into larger roles as EarthKind expands.
- Adopts an ownership mindset and understands their P&L
- You are organized, accountable and follow-through.
- Measured against KPI’s: Sales targets, profitability, distribution growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field
- Ability to work in the Mooresville, NC corporate office: 70% of the time.
80% of your time
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Accounts across channels: Hardware, Farm and Home, Auto, Mass, Implement
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow revenue.
- Communicate sales strategies and programming to broker partners and internal team.
- Proactively identify and address customer needs and opportunities
- Partner with internal teams to deliver value, expertise, and manage the P&L
- Maintain and grow the business development pipeline and ensure successful execution.
- Contribute to building and achieving sales goals and profit plans.
- Other duties as assigned consistent with a growing team.
- Continuous learning, training, and planning 12 – 24 months out.
- Maintain SharePoint, NetSuite, and other administrative tasks.
- E-commerce background and omnichannel insight
- Experience attending trade shows and executing follow-up.
- Broker management background
- A blend of strategic and practical thinking
- Understanding of brand marketing and its impact on sales
- Demonstrated ability to read and strategically utilize sales data in your account management plans (IRI, Nielson, POS Data, Customer Loyalty data)
- A skilled presenter delivering succinct and persuasive recommendations.
- Office setting with 10-20% travel (local and national)
- Collaborative and fast-paced team atmosphere
- Office is attached to the manufacturing facility.
- Able to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and phone.
- Familiar and able to use basic office equipment, printers, copiers, staplers, etc.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs. on occasion relative to the position.
- Minimal walking on occasion as needed to do the job.
- Travel to and from facilities near the main office location on occasion to perform duties as needed for meetings, and events.
- Able to follow rules and policies of the company that are in place per the handbook or other policies.
