Location: Company HQ is in Encino, CA, but this position will be fully remote in the US, with 30-50% travel.

Position Description:
We are looking for a sales professional with a hands-on doer attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset to work within our sales team and alongside our entire organization to deliver accelerated growth and profit by building best-in-class commercial plans and relationships with some of our most important retailers and distributors.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build and execute winning customer plans:
- Work with the Nick’s team and sales brokers to customize national sales strategy to maximize sales and profitable growth for your managed accounts.
- Influence and collaborate with customers and brokers to ensure flawless execution of plans.
- Use strong analytical skills to identify data driven key opportunities within all Sales Fundamentals: Distribution, Pricing, Shelving and Merchandising
- Develop annual strategic plans for your customer scope, track and exceed targets
- Build and deliver strong conceptual sales presentations, influencing improved Sales Fundamentals and fostering partnerships that enable future growth.
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Marketing Teams to execute & accelerate Sales objectives.
- Own account performance and P&L:
- Maximize the return on investment for trade and shopper marketing by tracking, evaluating, and planning every working or non-working dollar spent on the business.
- Manage volume forecasting, trade spending, and promotional programs across Nick’s categories to achieve targets.
- Enhance customer relationships between Nicks’s and category managers through well-developed strategic plans, influencing commercial timelines, and proactive communication.
- Active Broker Network management:
- Set and deploy business priorities with broker partners
- Actively manage planning and customer follow ups with brokers
- Partner with all levels of broker organization to help drive execution of company priorities
- Champion the values of the organization, be a leader and have fun!
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in sales roles at a high-growth CPG company.
- Robust understanding of the CPG industry and retail landscape with prior experience working with sales brokers.
- Experience and acumen in all aspects of sales functions, including Key Account management, go-to-market strategy, trade planning and management, retail execution and shopper marketing.
- Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency with MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate and express ideas clearly and concisely, in both written and verbal formats.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment.
- Demonstrated approach to “Acting as an Owner” – solutions-driven, cost-creative, and will leave their ego at the door to complete any task that needs to be done for the success of the team & Nick’s.
- Proven ability to adapt positively to change.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Our preferred candidate will also have experience in the following:
- Managing national accounts
- Managing key distributors such as KeHE, UNFI, and DOT
- Food industry (Frozen and Nutrition Bar experience a Plus!)
- Startup environment
