LHH has partnered with a Carson area client in finding an Account Manager.
Must love dogs… or cats! Do you have experience in the pet industry? This great new role is for a top client in this industry in Southern California. This opportunity is for someone with at least one year of experience in an Account Management or Inside Sales role.
This company is team oriented and this is an opportunity to work with a great Sales Leader at an established Pet Industry company.
ResponsibilitiesServe as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Develop trusted advisor relationships with Key Accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Forecast and track Key Account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Prepare reports on account status
Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
Experience as Account Manager, Inside Sales, Regional Sales, Key Account Manager
2-3 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods sales - regularly calling on retail stores and company headquarters
Experience partnering with distributors
Ability to travel to client sites locally to visit
Experience in the Pet Industry - open to anything related to pets!
Bachelor’s Degree is required - prefererably Marketing, Business or related field
Excellent communication skills
Strong desire to be part of a great team
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
