YOUR DAY AS A KENNEL TECHNICIAN

This full-time or part-time position typically works 6-10 hours per day between 6 AM and 9 PM, with weekends and holidays as needed.

As a Kennel Technician, your typical workday involves overseeing the health and general care of dogs and cats. You'll engage in dog behavior evaluations, ensuring a positive environment for all breeds and sizes. Your responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, monitoring animal health, and handling any health or behavioral issues. Collaborating with department managers, you'll play a key role in staff training, enforcing policies and procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of pet care.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of animal care experience
• Basic computer proficiency
• Physical ability to work on your feet for 8-10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends
• Great customer service skills and a love for animals
