Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Responsible for the day-to-day care of patients and boarders
- Safe handling and restraint
- Feeding and watering
- Walking and bathing
- Monitoring behaviors
- Ensuring the well-being of pets
- Assisting medical staff
What You'll Bring:
- Previous animal experience preferred
- Must be comfortable with large dogs, small dogs, cats, and exotics
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to walk and move heavy pets
- A sense of fun and teamwork - Smiles and laughter are required for all who apply
- Dependable and able to work independently
- The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease
- A willingness to learn and the desire to provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets
- References, background checks, and drug testing are required
