SalaryResponsibilities:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel
- Feed, water, and administer medication to animals as directed
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Monitor and report any changes in animal behavior or health
- Exercise and socialize animals to ensure their well-being
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Maintain accurate records of dogs in our care
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kennel or animal care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques
- Familiarity with pet grooming practices is a plus
- Experience with dog training is beneficial
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and staff
This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform lifting. Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods of time.
