As a Kennel Technician Assistant, your cleaning responsibilities typically include sanitizing kennels, washing food and water bowls, mopping floors, laundering bedding, and maintaining a clean environment for the animals. Additionally, you may need to disinfect common areas and equipment to prevent the spread of illnesses. Cleaning and sanitation are crucial in a dog boarding and daycare facility to maintain a healthy environment for the dogs. Regular cleaning helps prevent the spread of diseases, parasites, and bacteria, ensuring the well-being of the dogs in the facility. It also creates a comfortable and safe space for both the dogs and the staff, reducing the risk of accidents or injuries.
