Job Summary: Aqua-Tots Swim School Franchise Headquarters is a dynamic, multi-brand company that supports more than 150 franchise locations in 14 countries. We are looking for a highly motivated part-time Junior Videographer/Editor who is excited about growing in the video production industry and advancing as our brand evolves worldwide.
Role and Responsibilities:
This person will work directly with the Video Production Manager to create videos for marketing, operations, training, and social media by capturing, editing, and producing videos for internal and external use. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work in collaboration with the Video Production Manager through all phases of production to produce high quality and compelling video content
- Create engaging videos for social media
- Set up and operate various production equipment, including cameras, audio, and lighting in order to produce high quality videos for video requests as needed
- Assist in developing video strategies, including but not limited to writing scripts, interview questions, and project/social concepts
- Stay up-to-date with best practices for digital video production
- Ensure Aqua-Tot Brand Standards are maintained and moved to a higher level of excellence to effectively compete in the franchising and swim school industry
- Maintain video production equipment
- Other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of operating digital video equipment: DSLR, Zoom, lavalier mics, tripod, slider, etc.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Experience creating social media content for various platforms
- Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve, Media Encoder a plus
- Must have strong sense of visual style and the ability to present fresh and innovative ideas
- Basic understanding of media encoding software and codecs
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Ability to research and resolve technical issues
- An eagerness to learn and advance skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and flexibility to adjust to last-minute changes
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience in filming/editing/media production preferred (MUST submit portfolio or examples of work to be considered)
- 1 year experience filming with a DSLR camera (or comparable video equipment)
- A degree in Digital Video/Film Production is not required but is a plus

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
