Responsibilities
We are searching for a talented Junior Software Engineer - Frontend Developer to become part of Peraton's Agile Cybersecurity Technical Solutions organization.
Location: Arlington, Virginia. Hybrid role. Must be able to come on-site as needed.

• This position is contingent upon contract award.

In this role, you will:

• Program, document, test, bug fix and patching software applications as a part of a team.
• Supporting the design and implementation of custom web application towards dynamic requirements. Needs to be in-tune with changing requests and adapt accordingly.
• Develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Participates in development of software user manuals.
• May support additional areas of the application as team needs change. May analyze/design databases and/or assist in architecting cloud environments within an application area, working individually or coordinating as part of a team.

Qualifications
Required:

• Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of related experience and certifications, Master's degree with 0-2 years of related experiences.
• 2 years Frontend Developer experience including jQuery, JavaScript, Angular/React/Vue, and other CSS styling libraries.
• Experience with DevOps tools Atlassian JIRA, Jenkins Continuous Integration, and GIT repositories.
• Junior level experience in troubleshooting software system-related problems and mitigating software system vulnerabilities.
• U.S. citizenship and must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

Desired:

• Special considerations will be made for candidates with any experience of D3.
• Experience with developing software with cloud security best practices for cloud-native applications
• Experience meeting with cyber mission customers and must be to handle a full range of duties from gathering/refining requirements through developing, testing, and deploying the resultant code.
• Highly self-motivated and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, Ansible
• Has SAFe 6.0 for Teams (SP) or SAFe 5.1 or 6.0 DevOps (SDP) certification

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
