The Junior Program Analyst position will directly support the Office Nuclear Verification (NA-243).
This full-time position is contingent upon client approval. This position is located in Washington, DC.
There will be some CONUS and OCONUS travel with this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Shall provide support: including management assessments, reviews, exercises, analyses and evaluations to assist in fulfilling the mission responsibilities of the office.
- Day-to-day support of management actions and initiatives.
- Assistance with development of briefing materials for internal and external presentations
- Independent reviews of plans, projects, programs and proposed initiatives.
- Assistance in development of new initiatives.
- Shall independently monitor, evaluate and report on the scientific and technical activities conducted by the DOE laboratories and production facilities under the NA-243.
- Shall provide support for the administration and management of the NA-243 participation in international initiatives including cooperation under the 1958 U.S.-UK Mutual Defense Agreement, International Partnership for Nuclear Disarmament Verification (IPNDV), and the Quad Nuclear Verification Partnership.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- DOE Q clearance - current and active, or ability to obtain a Q clearance
- Minimum 2 years professional experience
- Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Must be able to manage the workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Must be able to meet or exceed short turnaround deadlines
- Experience with working collaboratively with senior management
- Time management, problem solving, and organizational skills are critical
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS
- Master’s degree
- Current and active DOE Q clearance
LOCATION: This is a hybrid position in Washington, DC 20024, USA
- Telework options are available with a requirement to be in the office at least three days a week, based on the level of in-person meetings and office needs.
