We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeableJunior Program Financial Analyst with strong financial expertise to be the leading support for our customer located in Washington D.C. Job Summary:
As a Junior Program Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing multiple locations and will have the authority to allocate and commit resources effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient financial management and resource allocation across various projects and locations financial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Resource Allocation: Take charge of resource allocation across multiple locations, ensuring that budgets and resources are optimally distributed to meet project and organizational needs.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, potential risks, and areas for improvement in resource allocation strategies.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for each location and project, closely monitoring expenditures and providing regular financial reports to senior management.
  • Resource Commitment: Make informed decisions regarding resource commitments, including personnel, equipment, and funding, based on project priorities and financial considerations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with department heads, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand their resource needs and align allocation strategies with organizational goals.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess financial and operational risks associated with resource allocation, proposing mitigation strategies when necessary.
  • Compliance: Ensure that resource allocation practices adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resource allocation, financial transactions, and budgetary information.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine resource allocation processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must participate in a federal background investigation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or resource management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resource management.
