About:The Junior Personal Injury Associate will be responsible for assisting with legal documentation, research, and analysis. They will partner with senior attorneys to prepare cases for trial.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on case precedents and statutory laws pertinent to the Personal Injury claims of clients.
- Participate in the discovery process by drafting requests and responses, reviewing documents, and preparing materials for trial.
- Assist in the negotiation and settlement of claims, working to achieve the best possible outcome for the client.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case progress, advice, and legal counsel.
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys, paralegals, and law clerks in the preparation of cases for trial, including strategy discussions and trial preparation.
- Attend legal seminars and workshops to continue professional development and stay updated on changes in Personal Injury law.
- Draft and file complaints
- Serve initial pleadings
- Manage Service of Process
- Obtain approval of Minor Settlements
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the state where the firm is located.
- 0-2 years of experience in Personal Injury law or a related field. New graduates with relevant internship or clinical experience are encouraged to apply.

- Pennsylvania Bar Admission is required, Ohio or West Virginia admission is a plus.
