Job Description
Our financial services client in the Lansdale area is lookin for a Financial Advisor Associate on a direct hire basis. The position pays $65-$75K and includes a generous benefits package, PTO and possible hybrid schedule once up and fully trained. The Financial Advisor Associate position is responsible for cultivating existing client relationships through working with an experienced advisor or independently. Job functions include formulating, communicating and implementing advice, portfolio management and relationship development. Typically, Financial Advisor Associates are not expected to develop new client relationships, but the firm will support and reward this activity.
Hours: 9-5 M-F

Responsibilities
Portfolio Management
o Monitor and execute on a subset of portfolios as assigned by other Financial Advisors.
o Take responsibility for all portfolio construction details including asset allocation, cash management, tax loss harvesting and annual required minimum distribution (RMD) completion using centralized investment philosophy and firm technical resources.
o Generate and approve appropriate trades using firm rebalancing software.
Relationship Management
o Become first line of communication for assigned book of business while developing trusting relationships with existing clients of the firm.
o Leverage firm client relationship management (CRM) software to adhere to communication initiatives and scheduled tasks.
o Stay informed of industry and company changes and implement them when applicable.
Internal Committee Involvement
o Contribute to one or more of the internal committees tasked with centralized recommendations on asset allocation and security selection.
Special projects as assigned to assist with firm-wide initiatives.

Required Experience
- · Three+ years in a client-facing advisory or financial planning role
- · Prior experience within client relationship management software as well as experience using a portfolio reporting and trading software, Envestnet, Tamarac or SugarCRM experience a plus
- · Bachelor’s degree
