In the context of the energy transition, Biogas Solutions Europe business has seen double-digit growth for the last years in Europe. This business includes the technologies and solutions that we offer throughout the value chain, from the production of biomethane, to its ultimate use (in transportation, industry, or for the production of low-carbon hydrogen).
Our European business is currently focused on France, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia (Sweden and Norway), and Italy. Our growth is driven by the opening of several biomethane production plants and by strong demand from industry and the transportation sector. And finally, as we have developed our solutions across the biomethane value chain, various projects have emerged as examples of a local circular economy.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Ops Controller is part of the UK Biogas Finance Team with a direct report to the UK Biogas CFO.
The main responsibilities is to contribute for financial and ops control reportings and ensures that Group policies are understood and applied in the entity.
His/her responsibilities are to ensure the financial reliability of the Biogas UK perimeter through the consolidation of the key financial reporting as per AL group Guidelines and Biogas International management requirements on different layers:

  • Monitoring the global performance of the UK Biogas, both through financial/non financial KPIs
  • Build analytical views of the business with relevant KPI and dashboards.
  • Achieve adhoc studies for UK Biogas General Management
  • Assist the local Ops controller and the local CFO during the closing process, maintenance of all the consolidation files of the affiliates, preview of the landing, using the IRIS retrieve tool and loading into IRIS the management forms (P&L including market view, Sales, Investment, Cash Flow statement)
  • Prepare the consolidation files for the annual process of the Target, the reforecasts, and the Advance plan including gap analysis, and assist the local Ops controller with their files and IRIS loading.
  • Redaction of monthly flash, consistency check, preparation of deck presentations for RF/target/Advance exercise.
  • Carries out Internal Control reviews
  • Warranties respect of Group Internal Control rules

Are you a MATCH?
Education:
  • Degree in Engineering or Business school
  • Advanced skills in Excel and/or Gsheet, database
  • Specialization in Finance would be a plus.

Soft and Hard Skills:
  • Empathy, good communication skills, hard worker.
  • Analytical skills, rigor

Languages:
  • English fluency is Must have
  • French Nice to have
