Junior Investment Analyst
Marc Realty is seeking a Junior Investment Analyst for their family investment group. This position will be involved in real estate and private equity investment analysis, investment reporting, and capital management. The position provides exposure to all types of investments including equity, debt, real estate, private equity, venture capital and operating businesses. The opportunity is available due to the continued growth of the investment portfolio and offers plenty of room to expand into other roles in the investment group and elsewhere in the company.
Major Responsibilities:
- Organize investment correspondence, including but not limited to: capital calls, capital distributions, investment updates, capital statements and financial statements. Also responsible for completing the weekly investment summary, which catalogues aforementioned correspondence, to be sent to ownership and members of the investment group.
- Facilitate capital calls and distributions for internal investment entities.
- Complete subscription agreements for new investments
- Monitor and manage cash for various investment entity bank accounts.
- Lead the preparation of personal financial statements for ownership and related investment partnerships and trusts.
- Create and maintain excel files used for investment reporting and financial analysis.
- Review/updating of investment tracking files.
- Monitor multiple business and personal loans.
- Assist with tracking and payment of vendor invoices.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, pivot tables)
- Great organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to interact and communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree, accounting or finance preferred.
- Located in our downtown Chicago Office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
