We are actively seeking an experienced Senior Analyst of Investment Risk, specializing in Equities, to support our independent risk management initiatives and contribute to the success of our investment strategies. The Senior Analyst, Investment Risk will be working with AM investment professionals and portfolio managers to understand and meet Investment Risk objectives.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing risks associated with equities, ESG and derivatives investments, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Conduct data analysis to support risk assessments and provide insights into portfolio analysis and commentary
  • Assist in market research activities to stay informed about industry trends, economic indicators, and relevant news impacting markets.
  • Develop risk reports on equity portfolio performance, risk exposure, and key metrics for internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with senior risk managers, portfolio managers, and other teams to support the implementation of risk management strategies.
  • Provide support in the development and maintenance of risk models for equities, utilizing quantitative techniques.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to risk management frameworks, processes and procedures.

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Investment Risk analysis; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of equity markets, financial instruments, and risk management concepts.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
