Junior Developer

Position Summary

The Junior Developer is responsible for assisting with the scripting of websites and updating existing web applications using scripting languages. As a Junior Developer, you will work under the supervision of the Software Engineer, assisting with coding, testing, design adjustments, and client reviews.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Automate tasks via scripts.
• Assist with the testing and maintenance of front and backend applications.
• Creation and maintenance of the data warehouse.
• Brainstorm new technology applications.
• Collaborate to implement new technologies.
• Keep up to date with the newest technology and programming trends.
• Use user feedback to correct and implement on the database.

• Strong foundation in Python, with hands-on experience in developing applications or projects. Familiarity with Odoo development is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of SQL (with a focus on PostgreSQL) for database management and manipulation. Exposure to other programming languages such as Java, PHP, C++, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.

Education and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar field is preferred.
• One (1) to three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with coding languages is a plus.
• Understanding of Web Design and development principles is a plus.
• An equivalent combination of education, experience, or training may be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
