Job Description The Junior Integration Developer - Integration and Interoperability Services within the IT PMO (Program Management Office) & Governance Team, at New York City Health + Hospitals (H+H) requires someone with exceptional skills as enumerated, below. Duties & Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities will Include, but are not limited to: Daily interaction with technical and operational staff in clinical areas managed by Electronic Health Record (EHR) build team, Laboratory, Ambulatory, etc. Work with Project Management and Business Analysis teams to translate interface requirements into a well-defined project scope Document business requirements and processes Communicate requirements to technical personnel using process models, flowcharts, and technical specifications Design and develop interface solutions according to the project scope, scalability, portability, and best development practices Deploy, test, and validate the interface performance to ensure the intended outcomes Document Unit and Functional test scripts use during Go Live process Review Epic Nova Notes and Care Concern bulletins in a timely manner Utilize Change Management process are adhered to when building and deploying any artifacts Performs on-call duties as required Provide maintenance and support to all phases of upgrades/go-live Workflow analysis Interface assessments Being proactive to research and resolve potential issues Being well versed and up-to-date with regulatory requirements and upcoming changes, related to the position Background: A person who can take on the task of designing, building, maintaining, documenting, troubleshooting and supporting a variety of clinical and business interfaces in a healthcare environment Candidate must be knowledgeable in HL7, SQL, XML, Unix, OOP, FTP, X12, DICOM, and FHIR, etc.

A Baccalaureate Degree or clinical degree from an accredited college or university; or 2. An Associates Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience analyzing and transforming information into business, clinical, and/or functional requirements in clinical, allied health, non-allied health, behavioral health, information technology, information services, business, analytics or related area; or 3.
A satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience. 4. Specialty certification(s) issued by a national commercially available program, state, professional society, academic or technical institution in an area(s) listed above, may be credited on a month-to-month basis toward the required work experience for a total of one year.
