We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior UV Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Role Summary:
As a Junior UV Design Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of UV technology applications, as well as taking design projects as they are tasked. Working under the guidance of Senior Engineers, you will create detailed analysis documentation for projects, contribute to research and development, and assist in technical customer support for our UV solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of UV technology applications under the supervision of a Senior UV Applications Engineer.
- Create comprehensive analysis documentation for projects, including but not limited to feasibility studies, design specifications, performance evaluations, and project quoting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for project documentation.
- Support the development of project plans, ensuring that all technical requirements are clearly defined and documented.
- Participate in the evaluation of new technologies and materials to enhance UV application effectiveness and efficiency.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies in all project-related activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes and design based on project outcomes.
- Work with sales representatives and customers on specific project details.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Deep knowledge of CAD/CAM software. Preferably Solidworks/Onshape
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create detailed and clear analysis documentation.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
- Proficient with Excel or other spreadsheet software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and under the supervision of a senior engineer.
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of UV technology and its applications.
- VBA and/or Python experience
- Familiarity with testing equipment
- Familiarity with electrical wiring and reading wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, etc.
- Knowledge of DFM principles and manufacturing equipment

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
