Job Description
Jefferson Solutions, the government consulting arm of the Jefferson Consulting Group, is seeking a Junior Contract Specialist to perform a full range of acquisition services in support of the US Administrative Office of the Courts (USAOC), Procurement Management Division (PMD).
Duties include:
- supporting senior Contract Specialists in providing acquisition and procurement support from inception through award providing high quality critical thinking and analysis, and technical writing support in drafting the following:
- Acquisition Strategy
- Acquisition Plans
- Market Research Analysis
- Determination and Findings
- Justification for Approvals
- Independent Government Cost Estimates
- Requirements documents (Statement of Work, Performance Work Statement, Statement of Objectives, and Statement of Requirements)
- Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans, as necessary
- Recommended Evaluation Criteria and Source Selection Plans, as necessary
- Receiving and reviewing Purchase Requests in the USAOC's Momentum system
- Coordinating and attending meetings with senior government managers, and other department stakeholders
- Facilitating contracting officer review of postings, solicitations, awards, and files Research SAM.gov
- Assisting with Post-Award contract actions including Modifications. de-obligations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- One (1) or more years of federal acquisition related experience
- Ability to quickly grasp pre-award and post-award contract administration duties and responsibilities
- Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations including FAR part 13 and 13.5, FAR Part 8.4, and FAR Part 15
- FAC-C or DAWIA Level I desired
Required Skills
