Arraya Solutions, a leading technology consulting firm, is looking for a Junior Cloud Engineer-AWS to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of AWS or cloud infrastructure experience .
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software modules
- Use AWS to create cloud solutions
- Manages the troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure compatibility issues based on systems architecture, project requirements and customer expectations.
- Participates during incident management events and provides consultative recommendations on viable resolutions.
- Makes recommendations to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contributes to decisions that impact profitability and operational effectiveness.
- Create automated unit and integration tests
- Deploy, run, and monitor AWS production systems
- Create detailed architectural plans to fit client requirements, and lead build and implementation efforts through to delivery
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.) is a plus
- Participate in requirements reviews, and other technical discussions
- Work as part of a highly collaborative agile team
- Handle large volume of complex technical details, workstreams, and interdependencies
Requirements:
Up and down the tech stack, this is a hands-on position that requires curiosity, initiative, and follow through. You must have a strong understanding or some experience with the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science or other relevant degree
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon VPC, Security Groups & AWS IAM roles
- Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift
- ECS, Fargate, Lambda, Kubernetes, Docker
- Strong understanding Amazon Web Services Cloud Engineering and administration experience
- Strong experience supporting the Amazon Web Services stack - VPCs, EC2, S3, EKS, Availability Zones, Security Groups, ELB/ALB, Control Tower, CloudFront, Lambda, IAM and similar technologies.
- 1+ years hands on experience working with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- 1+ years’ experience with automation and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo CD)
- Understand concepts of security related tooling and scanning (Web App Firewall, SAST, DAST).
- Knowledge of Apache based Webserver, or Nginx.
- Experience supporting Linux or *nix operating systems.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
