Junior Cloud Engineer
100% remote
6+ month contract
$45.00- $62.00 an hour
Immediate hire. Installs and maintains cloud-based applications, systems, or associated infrastructures. Ability to promote and develop 'Automation First' mentality and culture within team and business line. Participate cloud adoption efforts that span multiple disciplines with the cloud team to design and deploy highly scalable and resilient cloud services. Collaborate with product and program management to ensure solutions meet customer needs. Partner with product development groups to align software and systems strategy. Implement automated strategies for system monitoring, deployment, and scaling. Experience administrating various cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). Experience with maintaining environments through automation and CICD process. Maintain AzureAD, users, applications, and subscriptions information.
Ensure services maintain compliance with defined security standards (FedRAMP, PCI, NIST, CJIS). Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to ensure highest levels of system availability. Provides best practices, standards, training, and general support for the cloud environment
Requirements:

• 3-5 years of sysadmin experience deploying enterprise grade servers and systems
• Experience configuration management tools (i.e. Ansible, PowerShell, Chef, Packer)
• Desire and willingness to learn new cloud technologies and continue growing
• Deep technical knowledge supporting Linux and Windows operating systems
• Ability and desire to solve new problems with minimal guidance
• US Citizenship
• Bachelors Degree
• The ability to pass a state or Federal background check
