The students and families we serve are essential to our continued success. We are looking for a Junior Accountantprofessional who is analytical and organized and who will ensure accurate processing and recording of all transactions while utilizing standard accounting principles.

Schedule: 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
Location: AlphaBEST Support Office, Lewisville, NC
As an AlphaBEST Junior Accountant, you'll bring your A-game daily as you:

• Record all AP invoices into the accounting system and weekly processing of checks
• Reconcile credit card statements and monthly expense reports
• Post all cash receipts
• Respond to customer and vendor inquiries
• Prepare general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations
• Weekly mail processing
• Assist Controller with month-end process
• Assist with annual audit
• Other duties as assigned

Here's what you'll need:

• Degree in Accounting preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance
• Experience working in ERP systems, Oracle NetSuite a plus
• Excel experience is a requirement
• Knowledge of debits and credits
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be detail and deadline-oriented
